F.3. ENERGY SOURCES

Post by Team Dynamics » Wed 13 Nov 2019, 13:21

Hello,

we use Milwaukkee M18 batteries for drilling machines to power our robot. We use them in other projects, too. The have a full power management implemented (under voltage shut down, charging control, ...) . Are there additional security measures necessary?

Not an official answer but, according to this topic you can't use M18 battery without a Safety bag

Hi,

You do need a safety bag with that kind of battery since it is not used exactly for the purpose the manufacturer designed it for.
