Playing elements and raw materials

Post by Erwin_Braendle » Tue 27 Sep 2016, 16:58

In the Appendix of the Beta-Rules, all the playing elements are sketched.
Please make sure that all the raw materials can be pruchased easily. This in particular applies to the following elements:
- wooden circle-qauters for the Moon Base: Please use e.g. 23x23mm wooden parts. These can be purchased in oan do-it-yourself shop but no the 30x30mm ones.
- PVC tubes for Lunar Modules (63mm outer diameter) could be ok to purchase
- PVC tubes for Rocket Body (80mm inner diameter) will not be available here

The wooden circle-quaters for the moon base are 28x28mm wooden parts.
This dimension will fixed on the final version of the rules.

The PVC tubes for Lunar Modules and Rocket body respect respect the standard defined by the International Organization for Standardization.
So, you will find easely those elements.

Just a mistake, it is not 80mm inner diameter, but 80mm external diameter.

Those points will fixed on the final rules.

I don't find easily the PVC tube of 60mm inner diameter.
The standard thickness (for this diameter) seems to be 3mm, so that the inner diameter is rather 57mm.

The outer diameter is ok, but are you sure about this 60mm ? So the thickness should be 1.5mm ?
And where do you find this ?
