To take pallets and to make colons need a radical change in the mechanic employed compared to the past years which was based on balls.
So all the teams had to reinvented their robots (if you are an exception, please contact us). In the pits, we can see two different mechanical strategies :
- To take the pallets with roiling carpet and to group them, building colons inside the robot.
- Using robotics arm to take the pallets and manipulating them (sometimes until 5 degrees of liberty!)
A lot of robots use a hybrid strategy. We have to wait the first tests to see the best strategies!
