Eurobot Junior/Standard Experiment/Voltages

Post by Herobone » Tue 11 Dec 2018, 08:42

Hello everyone,
First of all I‘ve got a question too small to open another topic for:
[JUNIOR] Is it allowed to have a voltage greater than the allowed Cable voltage in the Bot? So is it allowed that the Robot has an extra power source?

The next questions concern both contests:
1. Is it allowed to activate the experiment via a radio signal?
2. Is it allowed to clamp the electron to the rope and move the rope via a motor in the experiment? So we would need to fix a roll on the oxygen atom.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can add an internal battery inside your robot (be careful on the security concerns). But the maximum voltage allowed inside the robot is 48VCC at any point.

Yes, but from the robot, not from the control panel.

Yes, it is allowed!

So it‘s also allowed that the rope goes both ways? So one going up and one going down?

Hello Herobone,

Sorry, can you explain, maybe with a drawing? We are not sure to understand perfectly your proposal.

It‘s also explained here:
