Detachable component for main robot

Post by rosez » Sat 24 Feb 2018, 13:40

Hello,

We are considering to have a detachable component to complete the Foraging Flower task, we are wondering if it is allowed to have the component to drop after the task is completed?

Thanks

Don't consider it as an official answer, but the perimeter of deployed robot is measured with all the parts of the robot. If a part is separated in 2 parts, you can't move is you want to respect the perimeter.
That's why is is not alowed to have a detachable component in your robot.
To be confirmed by an official referee.

Hi Rosez,

A robot is a continuous object, so it cannot loose some embedded components (except of course the joker cube & other playing elements).
