Hi

1. Please can someone post the complete dimension of the box. In the rules I only found the width (500 mm) - but how deep and high is the box ???

2. What dimensions have the holes for the fake elements. I think the must be greater than 10 mm - but what is the correct size (11 mm,.... ???)

Thanks

We don't defined it because we are still working on the balance system.

For the holes, they are made in order to put M10 inside

The branches are fixed, you are not authorized to take it with your robot, it's part of the table, not playing elements

Hi!

I have a question referring to the trees on the raised zone.
Which diameter have the trees? Are the trees fixed on the ground? Furthermore I miss the dimension of the first tree-row.
Maybe I overlook something. I hope somebody can help me.

Please look at the picture attached. I highlighted the important dimensions.

Thank you!

For the second point, I answer 2 posts ago, trees are fixed on the table, they are part of the table, not playing elements.
The diameter of the tube is 50mm. For the second dimension, I'm aware of this, I'm waiting for the answer of the one who made the plans

Hi

Are the tomatoes, oranges and corns always in the same positions on the table (except for the fake corns, of course)

Hi everyone, congratulations for the new rules !

What will be the conditions to "remove" a corn from the table (the extract force). At wich height could we "push it" in order to make it fall ?
Those technical questions will answer many other questions related to the corns.

In my opinion, "pins" under the mobile corns aren't needed and could annoy many teams.
I think that even mobile corns seem to be fixed ones for a moving robot hitting them... What do you think about it ?

Thank you and good luck to all teams !

We did tests tonight, and the result is that the corn will fall if you hit it a little bit above thé ground (~10 mm). For th extraction force, i think it is ~2.5 (weight of the corn). I dont understand the meaning of the pin, the corn falls still very easily.

Here is the videos of the tests :
with a 9mm pin the corns falls easily :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9XM8AN1jjc
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dzMwLHltXg

Without the pin, it is quite the same :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r20rZGQidTk

With a 20mm pin the corn stays well in his hole :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_sk-Gisi0g

And this is to show how easy it is to go thru the corns :

The cylinder were made of polypropylene, the diameter was the same as in the rules, but they were a little bit shorter.

We are going to make some tests to modify a little this point. We don't want robots to simply push corns. I think you will have the results at the end of next week

Is there a limit in the number of items the robot can carry ?

Is it allowed to throw items toward the goal ?
