CNES and Planète Sciences organise "CanSat France", an international CanSat Competition since 2008. As part of this competition, a CanSat is a miniature space-probe, with a volume comprised between 330 mL and 1 liter ; the probe contains equipments to perform missions.
The 2011 edition’s winner is the team Budstar for the Morpheus-3 project.

Are you ready for the challenge ? Yes You Can-Sat !
The competition comes in several phases, from November 2011 to September 2012. The missions that shall be performed by the CanSat in 2012 are the same as those proposed in 2011. They are described in the following document.
This document has been updated on November 15th 2011. You will find in it the 2012 deadlines for all milestones.
The next milestone (T3) of the competition consists in writting a scientific paper to describe the final design of the CanSat and the realizations on-going. The article will be released to the jury as part of the evaluation of your project.
